Just off the High Street, we’ve created an open-air space where you can switch off, meet your people, and enjoy the moment – whether that’s a drink in the sun, live music, street food, or catching the game on the big screen.
We’re open all summer long with a packed programme of DJs, live acts, and laid-back daytime sessions that turn into late nights.
Come as you are, stay as long as you like.
Planning ahead? Lock in your table and we’ll have everything ready for you.
Walk-ins are always welcome, but if you want to guarantee your space, booking ahead is the move.

Hours may vary slightly for special events.
Most standard Fridays and Saturdays are free entry before a certain time, but some events are ticketed or may include a small entry fee.
Any ticket info will always be listed in advance on the event page or socials.
At peak times and during selected live music events, we may charge a small entry fee to help support our artists, performers, and the running of the space.
Prices will vary depending on the event, but we’ll always aim to keep them fair and clearly communicated in advance.
Yep – table bookings are available via the Res Diary booking section on our website.
We can’t always guarantee tables for walk-ins during busy periods, so booking ahead is recommended.

Entry is subject to venue capacity and management discretion.
Yes – food will be available from Ember Leicester throughout the season.
Please do not bring outside food or drink into the venue.
No strict dress code – just keep it appropriate for the time, vibe, and event.
Casual sportswear is fine during daytime trading, but we may refuse entry for sportswear during busier evenings.
No football tops.
Management reserves the right to refuse entry.
Yes – Merchant’s Yard is strictly 18+.
Challenge 25 may be in operation, so please bring valid photo ID.
Merchant’s Yard is an outdoor venue.
Some areas are covered, but we’d still recommend dressing appropriately for British weather doing what British weather does best.
